Reverse osmosis is the highest level of filtration availble rendering water almost pure. It will remove most minerals and organics including bacteria, colour, taste, odor, pesticides, drugs, lead and heavy metals.

This system comes with a 90 psi pump that dramatically improves the quality and flow rate of the system. This is particularly helpful if you have low mains pressure. Access to a power socket close to the system will be necessary.

Water must be of a potable quality and a minimum of 1 bar pressure.

Reverse osmosis systems used in domestic applications are quite slow so a small pressurised storage tank is used so that water is available as soon as you need it. The Pallas reverse osmosis systems also come with an attractive tap to be used with the tank.

The Pallas SO reverse osmosis sytems uses 5 stage filtration...

Stage 1
Sediment filter - removes turbidity

Stage 2
Granulated carbon filter - colour, taste, odor and chlorine

Stage 3
Carbon block filter - colour, taste, odor and chlorine

Stage 4

RO membrane - bacteria, heavy metals, nitrate/nitrites, pesticides, drugs

Stage 5
Post carbon filter - colour, taste, odor and chlorine

All sytems come complete with a pressurised storage tank, tap and installation kit.

Please note the process of reverse osmosis produces waste water as well as pure water.
